A Study of Eloralintide (LY3841136) in Participants With Obesity or Overweight, and Type 2 Diabetes (ENLIGHTEN-2)

An August 6 update to the ENLIGHTEN-2 registry record keeps the design of Lilly's Phase 3 eloralintide study on file, but it is not a new registration. NCT07282600 was first posted and began on December 15, 2025; the August date marks a metadata update, not a publication or trial milestone.

The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study is registered to enroll 1,035 adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes across 159 listed locations. Its primary outcome is percent change in body weight through week 64, with participation lasting about 75 weeks.

As of the update, the record lists the overall status as recruiting, an estimated primary completion in January 2028 and estimated study completion in February 2028. Those fields describe registration and current registry metadata only; they do not show trial progress, results, benefit, safety, availability or approval, and eloralintide remains investigational and is not approved for any use.
