Amy Schumer put the number in writing over a video her son filmed: not 14 kilos, but 23, and not to look good, which she called fun and temporary. She did it to survive. In the same caption she names Mounjaro, plastic surgery over the years, and the hormonal condition that had been swelling her face.

Scrutiny of women's bodies is the pressure all of this answers to, and it long predates any injectable. Schumer has been fielding public deliberation about her appearance for close to 20 years, first for being read as too big and now for being read as too small, which is the body image trap compressed into one career. The complaint changed; the commenting never stopped.

None of it establishes that the medicine is why she looks different. Surgery, a hormonal disorder she says is now behind her, perimenopause and Mounjaro all sit in the same paragraph, which is how one person's health actually works and why a caption is not evidence about a drug. That does not mean the disclosure is worth less. It means the harder question is why she owed anyone the explanation at all.
